From our local farms to your table!

I went to the Valley Food Coop today and picked up my fresh milk from Trickling Springs, eggs from Cool Brook Farms and fresh baked bread from Burkholder’s Bakery.  Ready for my guests from Philadelphia.  Buttermilk Pancakes, Fresh Strata with Maple Sausage and Belgian Waffles on the menu.  mmmmmmmm

C&O Canal Exhibit comes to Snyder’s Landing

A new wayside was unveiled at Snyder’s Landing along the canal towpath on Tuesday, May 1, 2012.

Sharpsburg is 1.2 Miles from the towpath.  Close enough for cyclists to come visit.  Inn at Red Hill is 10 minutes from Snyder’s Landing.

R&R on the Deck

Tom & Lois from Michigan came to visit Red Hill April 27-29, 2012.  After a wonderful day at Harpers Ferry,  the weather was perfect for some R&R out back.
